Prospect Park

Prospect Park 01
Prospect Park Lake

While Central Park is the most well known of NYC’s parks, there are actually about 1700 parks in the city. Prospect Park is Brooklyn’s second largest public park, and also home to the Prospect Park Zoo.

Along with lots of great nature walks, running trails, and green lawns, the park also offers events throughout the year, from sports events to performances. So if you’re looking for a way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, Prospect Park is the perfect place to lounge about on a beautiful day.

Prospect Park also borders the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, another great place to bring a date.
