Maribelle’s in SOHO is a romantic cozy European style chocolate house. They sell high end chocolates and beautiful gift sets. Don’t let this intimidate you. Head to the back and ask for a table. Order a hot chocolate and sip the decadence as you converse with your date. The beautifully styled cafe will dazzle your eyes and the thick non-dairy hot chocolate will make your taste buds dance.
TIP: Try the spicy hot chocolate if you are adventurous, or I recommend the Aztec for a less daring palate.
Ludlow Coffee Supply is cool. They have couches in the back and a record player with an interesting ever changing selection of tunes. You and your date should grab one of their signature lattes (bourbon vanilla or my favorite — salted caramel). Sip you lattes as you listen to the music and enjoy each others company on a comfy couch.
