Marie’s Crisis is adorable. Right in the gay section in the West Village just walk down some stairs into this Broadway haven. Everyone is friendly and loves show tunes. Feel free to sing along or to just stand and enjoy. If your date likes Broadway, singing or new experiences this is one not to miss. It is a New York staple and always a fun time.

This place is delicious. A Kati Roll is basically an Indian burrito. The perfect place to stop in for a quick bit with your date. Central park is huge! There is so much to see and explore. Bring your date on a beautiful walk and get lost in this curated haven. Economy Candy opened in 1937 and some of the same candies they sold then are available now! The selection is incredible along with cute little gift ideas and candies waiting to be sampled. Take your date through a sea of candy and then maybe off to a movie or the park. Perfect for the young and young at heart and of course those with a sweet tooth.

If a museum sounds a bit too stuffy for your tastes try a themed trip to the MET. Make a small scavenger hunt of things to find or dress up in matching costumes. I’ll bet your date will appreciate the creativity and Halloween is right around the corner.
