This park has everything. Beautiful Monument? Check. Large Fountain? Check. Performance artists? double check. You and your date can soak in the sights and there is almost always some sort of political movement or performance going on. There are puppeteers and bubble blowers. Dancers and musicians. This place is delicious. A Kati Roll is basically an Indian burrito. The perfect place to stop in for a quick bit with your date. Central park is huge! There is so much to see and explore. Bring your date on a beautiful walk and get lost in this curated haven. There is always the picnic option which is a great idea. Bring some simple snacks and a bottle of wine and enjoy each others company in this beautiful park.
The MET has thousands of beautiful artifacts and art to explore. You and your date can meander through the museum and talk about art and life as you get to know each other better.
If a museum sounds a bit too stuffy for your tastes try a themed trip to the MET. Make a small scavenger hunt of things to find or dress up in matching costumes. I’ll bet your date will appreciate the creativity and Halloween is right around the corner.

The Museum of Modern Art is not to be missed. MOMA’s exhibits include drawing, painting, photography and statues. Important collections from 1880s to 1950s are displayed the 5th floor, which includes Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and Vincent Van Gogh.

The Whitney’s permanent collection features only American Artists and the different seasonal exhibitions focus on unique and intriguing artists. This is an edgy home grown must see. Explore with your date and find pieces that speak to you. Then speak about them with your date!
