Milk and Cookies is almost too cute!  But don’t worry.  Its still delicious.  This off the beaten path bakery is right in the West Village and sure to make your date go AHHHH.  Did I mention this place is cute?  They are making cookies throughout the day so they are sure to be fresh.  Bakery Website

Marie’s Crisis is adorable.  Right in the gay section in the West Village just walk down some stairs into this Broadway haven.   Everyone is friendly and loves show tunes.  Feel free to sing along or to just stand and enjoy.  If your date likes Broadway, singing or new experiences this is one not to miss.  It is a New York staple and always a fun time.

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park – George Washington Monument

This park has everything.  Beautiful Monument? Check.  Large Fountain?   Check.  Performance artists? double check.  You and your date can soak in the sights and there is almost always some sort of political movement or performance going on.  There are puppeteers and bubble blowers.  Dancers and musicians.  Maybe try your hand against some of the chess experts in the park.

Sit by the fountain or go and sit in the grass and relax.  You are sure to have interesting things to see and talk about as you enjoy Washington Square Park.  Park Website   This park is lively at any time of day and is open til 1 AM.  The people watching here is amazing!
