Have a great time moving and grooving in Beauty Bar . The 90’s tunes come often and they play a great mix. Salon by day, club by night give Beauty Bar a speakeasy feel. The drinks are well-priced and the service fast. Its cute, non pretentious and hip. The clientele is fun and sexy and the atmosphere will put you in the dancing mood.
If your nails need some work you and your date can get martinis and manicures for $10.

Hip Pizzeria just outside The High Line at 14th St. Come on in and sample one of these delicious Pizzas. The staff is so friendly and the Pizza is so good it with reinforce your love of gluten. They also have a vegan option. And they have a pool table.
Also, they have cocktails. Like, specialty cocktails. Like, one of them is served in a light bulb! So you and your date are sure to have a great time. This restaurant makes me proud to be a New Yorker.
Marie’s Crisis is adorable. Right in the gay section in the West Village just walk down some stairs into this Broadway haven. Everyone is friendly and loves show tunes. Feel free to sing along or to just stand and enjoy. If your date likes Broadway, singing or new experiences this is one not to miss. It is a New York staple and always a fun time.

This place is delicious. A Kati Roll is basically an Indian burrito. The perfect place to stop in for a quick bit with your date. Its an adorable place in the West Village and they have a really great all day special. The Red White and Blue. This is one of the cheapest way to eat oysters in the city. If you are in the mood for some delicious buns (and who doesn’t like nice buns?)look no further. Shanghai Asian Mannor. The steamed buns are divine, but don’t neglect the pan fried pork dumplings. Those puppies are also quite satisfying. Its a bit off the beaten path, but they know how to steam a bun!
A bit off the beaten path in Chinatown lies a secret gem—the best soup dumplings in NYC. Take your date inside and eat at the large round family style tables. Order the pork soup dumplings and explore a new fun food together. They serve delicious dumplings full of soup and a meatball. They have food there as well but I recommend coming in for 2 orders of the soup dumplings and complimentary tea.
