Guggenheim Museum – “I can see a tall building of a new type, perfectly appropriate to our purpose, having monumental dignity and great beauty” – Frank Lloyd Wright

The building alone is a work of art.  Created in 1943 by architect Frank Lloyd Wright the Guggenheim is seen as his masterpiece.  Inside is a world of art to explore.  Don’t become overwhelmed.  Take an hour or two and then leave for some ice cream or a walk through central park which is only 5 blocks away.

Saturdays from 5:00 – 7:45 p.m is pay what you wish.  This is the day for the bargain hunters who still want to take their honey out on an art date.

HOURS:    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:45 PM                    Saturdays 10:00 AM – 7:45 PM        Closed on Thursdays

Adults $15 Student and Seniors $10 Children free
